Agreement on EPA between Japan and Australia
An article in the morning edition of the Nikkei Newspaper dated April 8th says, “Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his Australian counterpart, Tony Abbott, agreed on EPA in principle on April 7th in the Guest House in Tokyo.
Japan will lower the tariff of Australian agriculture products including beef, and Australia, meanwhile, is to abolish tariff on Japanese cars.”
I once lived in Australia. It’s a wonderful country. I hope that this marks further development of the friendly relations between the two countries. Personally, I like Australian beef. It is very tasty. I’m looking forward to enjoying the beef more often. For Australians meanwhile, it will be beneficial if they are able to get Japanese cars at more reasonable prices.
